Winter trip to The Shack

David was very interested in watching me sew. Grandma watched David a lot so I could get some "me" time in - always important!
VERY BIG WOLF Print that Damon and Grandpa found in the woods. There are many wolves around the shack. Luckily none of them ate Jimmy and Foxy.
I couldn't find David and after looking around...here he was...in the cabinet w/ the dog treats.
Foxy sure got lots of treats!
Damon, David and Grandpa drove through the woods to where Grandpa's friend Jerry was doing some logging. David got to sit in the front seat and eat fruit snacks and looked out for wolves.

In front of a wood pile.
David was fascinated with all of the logging equipment.
David got to spend some time outside!

David is in a big boy bed!

Here are some pictures of David in his Big Boy Bed. The transition went REALLY well. Grandpa Huntz made him this bed!

Breast Cancer 3 Day

My fabulous sister, Carrie, is going to do the Breast Cancer 3 Day this summer. She will be raising thousands of dollars for Breast Cancer Research and walking 60 miles in 3 days this August. Go Carrie.

Please take a moment to look at her website and support her if you can.

David's First Movie!

We took David to his first movie on Sunday evening. We went to the Riverview Theater in Minneapolis, a FABULOUS theater that is only $2 a ticket. We figured that if he didn’t make it through the movie we’d only be wasting $6 as opposed to $18!

The Fraser’s came with us. We went to Madagascar 2, which was VERY funny. I found myself laughing out loud!

Besides dumping half of our popcorn bucket on the floor, David made it through about 2/3 of the movie. He totally paid attention and sat on Damon’s lap. When he lost his attention span Damon took him into the lobby where he ran around.

Greta was quite impressive and made it through the whole movie.

Overall it was quite the success! Not sure when we’ll brave another one, but I definitely think it will be at the Riverview!

Celebrating the New Year with party favors and a sippy cup
Slumber Party

We went to the Owatonna Holiday Inn where they have a great kids water park and spent the night with our friends Amanda, Steve, John and Josie. The kids spent lots of time playing in the water, going down the slides and splashing around. We had snacks and drinks in our room and then went for dinner at a restaurant. The kids were just wonderful. David, John and Josie had a slumber party in one room while the adults made it up until 11:00 - wow, times sure have changed : ) A fun time with our good friends. Happy New Year.
