Circus!

The second we walked in the door David wanted a light saber. He wanted the red one because that is the one that Darth Vader uses. We ended up buying two of them so we could fight like Jedi warriors. Ice Cream Cone! Even on his nose. The bleachers were glowing with all the light sabers kids purchased when the lights went out. Train ride at intermission. I wanted to get a picture of us together but he only wanted to take a picture of me. Here I am with the $5 balloon we bought.

I took David to the Circus on Sunday night. It was so fun and special to have a night, just the two of us. He ate a hotdog, ice cream cone and we split a pretzel. He said that maybe someday he'll be in the Circus.

His favorite part was the motorcycles.

Most interesting part: Seeing an elephant pee.

Least favorite part: Clowns (I don't get clowns either)

Greta's Overnight Stay

They both wanted to sleep on the couch. Greta said that her daddy told her she could sleep in her new flip flops so she did. I'll have to ask Charles if he did indeed say that. They both ended up sleeping with me (my bed was HEAPED with stuffed animals, pillow pets and blankets). Damon slept in David's room.

Pre-School fashion. On the way to David's skating practice. We walked around the arena bleachers w/ Mikko while David practiced. Greta was very proud she found two hockey pucks.

I had the kids working on Easter projects for their Grandmas. Projects are super messy, super patience-testing, but also super fun. They turned out so cute. Grandmas - you'll get your projects soon! *

Greta spend Friday night and all day Saturday with us. David and Greta have lots of fun together, but also tend to bicker like siblings : ) Many arguments about whose turn it is for a game or to play with a toy.

It was a fun night and day and we are happy to have the cousins spend so much time together.

Mikko eating ice cream with his hand. He'd stick his hand in the bowl and then insert his whole fist into his mouth to suck it off. He didn't want to miss any of it.

We celebrated Great Uncle Bob's birthday by bringing all the kids to his house and pretty much trashing the place : ) The kids loved the long hallway and all of Great Grandmas fun bead necklaces.

Sunday School

Every 3rd/4th week I teach Sunday School at Church.

Here is a picture of the class today. I mostly signed up because David wouldn't want to go by himself so I thought having me teach it every once in awhile would help transition him into being more independent. And...sitting with 2 boys in a church pew for the whole service is kind of a nightmare so going to play and craft makes going to church easier for us.

We went over to the Rose's tonight for dinner. Mikko was entertaining us with his "Stonehenge" sculpture he made out of the crackers and dip.

This kids had a picnic on the living room floor. The adults ate in the kitchen. Every once in awhile we'd hear "Mikko is stepping in my ketchup", "Mikko is sticking his hand in my milk".

The kids all played so well upstairs together.

Waterpark with Grandmas, Cousins, Aunties and Uncles

We arrived at the hotel and David wanted to unpack all our bags.

He gets super excited staying in hotels.

And of course, the first thing he does when we arrive is take off his pants.

Off to the waterpark we go.

We celebrated Christine's birthday with cupcakes that Sophia made with Grandma Mary back in the room.

We picked our Twins tickets for the season. Thanks Grandma Mary. We can't wait to go.

The kids got all amped up on sugar and run around the hotel room like crazy. We were taking bets on which one would pass out first. They had so much fun together and it makes me so happy they have counsins.

We then visited Cabela's and Damon bought some new bandanas. The boys all wore them at lunch.

Fun family trip. All the kids were just delightful. Only complaint is that it wasn't long enough!

Cousin Saturday

Leah came with Grandma Carol to watch David's skating lesson this morning.

They brought fancy suckers and they all sat on the couch and licked them for about an hour and watched Nickelodeon.

David wasn't sure what he thought of this ride.

Mikko's definite favorite was the train. Over and over and over.

On Sunday night we went to Chuck E. Cheese's with Grandma Mary. We ate pizza and the boys played lots of games. Thanks Grandma Mary. It was fun to see you!
