A rare scene - Wendy drinking water.
We stayed at the Embassy Suites on Saturday night. We brought all the kids to swim in the pool in the afternoon and then the dads picked up the kids so the Moms could have a fun night out.

Ugghhh...I remember this feeling
Big news, in case anyone doesn't know...I'm expecting! Exciting news for the Lee Family! Poor David has no idea what is going to happen to his little world : )
With all the excitement also comes the nausea, exhaustion and worrying. If I can make it through the next 4-6 weeks I know it gets better. Until then Damon will just have to deal with me and my many moods.
Last week we saw the heartbeat so that was very reassuring. I have a nurse appointment tomorrow and then will see my doctor in a few weeks.
It all just makes me think of David when he was born and how little he was.
aaahhhhh

Here's to Good Women
Here's to Good Women
May we know them
May we be them
May we raise them!
My friends Britta and Natalie did the Breast Cancer 3 day this weekend. They each raised over $5000 for Breast Cancer Research. I am amazed at their feats (both physically and fund-raising). On Saturday I went to see them at one of the Cheer Stations in St. Paul. Britta called me and asked that I bring them each one beer.

Tettegouche State Park Pictures
We spent a very fun couple of nights camping at Tettegouche State Park on the North Shore. The first night poured and poured and lightening and thundered and poured some more, but luckily David slept through the whole night. Damon and I sure didn't get any sleep. We spent the next day hiking the trails and exploring the shore. The evening brought a bit more rain just as I was preparing Spaghetti for dinner. We had to eat it in the tent which was no easy feat with a 2 year old. At one point I told David he could just each cookies for dinner because I was sick of picking up spaghetti noodles and dripped sauce all over the floor of the tent. But the rain stopped, we got David to sleep and were finally able to enjoy a few beers by the fire!
