Castaway Cay - Disney's Private Island

Ready to explore.

Daddy ran the Castaway Cay 5k race we learned about the night before!

Amazingly clear water.

Off we go to the Stringray Adventure

Silly Mikko

Damon and David rented bikes to explore the island.

Beers became two for ones about a half hour before we had to get back on ship.  We took full advantage and hauled some buckets back on board!

Dinners!

We ate like kings.  Every meal for the kids ended with a Mickey Bar covered in sprinkles.

Mikko got special treatment for his birthday celebration.

Royal Palace night.

Breakfast in the Enchanted Garden

Endless ice cream cones.  Mikko couldn't decide which flavor so we got two.

Animators Palate

Ketchup was always poured in the shape of Mickey Mouse ears.

Last Breakfast on board

Our favorite night.  I'll post a video later.  In Animator's Palate they have an interactive Crush show.  Amazing.  Crush came and talked to David and Mikko.

Around the boat

Amazing Window Seats in our rooms.  Much time spent in them.

Setting Sail Party

Gorgeous Lobby

Shuffleboard.  This is the deck we ran on.  2.5 laps was a mile.

David's bunk bed.

Every night a new animal towel was waiting on our bed with chocolates!

Pirates of the Caribbean Party

Arggg!  On the way to Pirate Night!
Dinner at Animator's Palate

Their Corn Dogs became swords, and I didn't care a bit!
Mikko loved the hook!

Pirate Party on Deck

Cutest thing ever, had Damon in tears nearly.  After the pirate show David wanted to look for Captain hook sailing away.  He told he he saw Neverland in the distance.

Too much Pirate Fun for the little one.

Kennedy Space Center

We spent much of Saturday exploring Kennedy Space Center.
The boys enjoyed it, but I think they enjoyed the snacks we bought them even more!  Cest la Vie!
On Mars!
 The guys.
Testing out what it would feel like to be in an Apollo space capsule.

The coolest thing we did was the Shuttle Launch Experience.  It was really loud and I wasn't sure David would go with me, but he did.  Then he proudly took Daddy on it.

Cocoa Beach

We started our vacation in Cocoa Beach.  After an absolutely perfect flight (they couldn't have been better travelers) we threw our stuff in the hotel room and hit the beach.  We thought we'd walk down to the beach just to look at it before dinner, but once David and Mikko discovered the fun, our dinner plans were delayed.  They both showed no fear of the big waves and jumped right in.  Their smiles tell the stories.  They were hooked on the beach.
Mikko squealed the whole time we were at the beach.
Finally in some swim wear!  The little Minnesota boys looked like they fit in quite well.
David preferred to have Daddy take him out deep!

We sat in the water just letting the waves crash over us.
Everytime Mikko smiled and laughed.  It never got old.
