Happy New Year




We made Nachos for dinner.

Cheesy Puffs for a snack - it is a special night.

We hadn't gotten around to making our gingerbread house before Christmas so we got it done tonight.

19th Annual Westfork Literary Society

It was the warmest weather I ever remember for the Westfork Literary Society. We were outside much of the day and took our dray rides.


Mikko loved the dray ride so much he took the next one with Britta.

David loved listening to all the readings and wanted to do his own.

Win, Viv and Berit did their own version of 12 days of Christmas. It was so fun to see that the kids love the tradition of the WLS as much as the adults.

Shack Fun!

David got a real rocket for Christmas from Santa! We headed down to the Peterson Field to set it off.

The kids were pretty excited for the big event. Damon spent lots of time putting the model rocket together. We didn't know how it would go!

Santa Came!

Christmas Eve turned into an interesting night of sleep for the Lee Family. Mikko would NOT sleep and I mean it. We were up for hours with him. Luckily The Christmas Story marathon was on and I watched it about 3 times for entertainment in the middle of the night. And then, at about 3AM David came out of the bedroom puking all over the place. He was up for a couple hours throwing up. I really thought Christmas would be ruined for him, but to my delight, when he woke up (on the living room floor) in the morning he instantly remembered that Santa came and snuck into the room super excited about the day!

Bobby wrapped Mikko up like a present. Bobby and Greta just absolutely love Mikko and think he is the cutest thing. A couple things they commented about Mikko:

Bobby - "Can we keep him?"

Bobby - "How could you EVER say "no" to him?"

The kids were so proud to give G and G their homemade Xmas present.

Mikko didn't want to be in this picture and we get a great view of David.
