Every year we plan a day to get the kids together to craft, bake and play games. This year we packed so much stuff in. We got it all done, the kids had a blast and the mommies only had one beer to make it through! We were bummed Leah couldn't join us : ( Next year!Here are the kids making reindeer food to bring to the Shack.
Every year the kids make a special gift for Grandma and Grandpa. This year they painted an old window we had in our basement. They painted deer and trees, just like their favorite scene out the window at the Shack. We know G & G will absolutely love it. Each kid had a special part that they painted on it.
On to ornament making.
Greta was decked out for the party in a holiday dress!
Proud of his work. He immediately went and put it on his own Xmas tree in his room.
The Christmas Eraser Toss EXTRAVAGANZA!!!
Damon ran to McDonalds to pick up lunch for everyone.
Mikko was in charge of painting the snow falling on the window scene.

We ended the afternoon just as the snow started to fall watching Christmas Vacation.

Love the window for Gma and Gpa...don't they read your blog though??? Sorry we were down and out today! Looks like we missed an awesome afternoon!
@Mandy. My parents don't currently have internet (soon to change I think!). They go to the Peterson's to look at the blog from time to time though. They won't see the pics before we give them the present. Hope Leah is better. We'll definitely do it again next year and hope you can come.
@Mandy again- We have Reindeer Food we made for Leah and I have a prize for her too.
