Halloween at Work

On our way to work/school this morning.

Love that David got to dress up for Preschool...I heard most schools don't allow costumes or halloween parties anymore. What is happening to our society?
Some of the awesome costumes at work. What a great place I work!

Our annual Pumpkin-Look-a-Like event.

Here is the pumpkin Jeff made look like me. Decked out in shades (my office is always sunny in the morning so I wear sunglasses), Lots of jewelry, a pink ribon, and a "Party Planner" tag.

Trick-or-Treat "Practice" Night

The boys got in their costumes and we headed to Boo Blast at Lund's after work tonight.
No homeade costumes this year, but we did make the helmet!
Mikko did NOT want to get out of his costume. I wonder why?

Trick or Treat practice for the big event.

I think Mikko kinda likes to trick or treat!

Work and Play

Halloween Party at the Fraser's

We spent Sunday afternoon w/ Bobby and Greta doing lots of Halloween crafts, games etc. We tried to get a picture of all the kids in their costumes. Bobby made this AWESOME Pacman costume. Greta was a dancing kitty cat.
Mikko had zero interest in having his picture taken. He is Thomas the Train, his favorite, of course.

Pin the wart on the witch.

Making nummy halloween treats.

Decorating a haunted house.

Mikko thinks it needs just a few more sprinkles.

It turned out exactly how the directions suggested.

Pumpkin bowling. The game ended with them all throwing mini pumpkins at each other.

Carrie got a craft idea out of the magazine. Again, they turned exactly like the directions.

___________

Thanks for the fun party Auntie Carrie. The boys LOVE cousin time.

Saturday and Sunday @ Shack

So tired. David and Lola passed out before dinner time.

At the Burns' Shack. A quick visit.

Gathering fall grasses for arrangements. It was WINDY!

Pumpkin Carving!

Lucia and Wendel came out for a visit. Apples with Lucia.

We took the kids for a hike in the woods. Here we are at silly grandpa's stop sign on one of the trails.

Trouble!

Feeding the deer with Grandpa.

Family picture.

Mikko LOVED the wheeler and screeched the whole time.

Two silly boys rolling down the hill.

Packing up the car to go home : ( Even the dogs look sad to leave.
________________

We had another fun LONG weekend at the Shack. So much fun with Grandma and Grandpa. Lots of time outside. Lots of good fun, hunting, visits from friends. Wish we could stay even longer.

Friday @ Shack

I went to town and bought David his very first hunting vest. He filled it with apples for the deer. He felt pretty cool wearing what the big guys wear at the Shack.
David went hunting with Daddy on the wheeler and Damon got 3 birds.

David even touched one.

Checking out the target.

Friday afternoon we ventured into the woods on the wheelers to help Grandpa finish a deer stand.

Foxy loving the time outside.

Regal Jimmy!

Done with their work for the afternoon.

Wheelin' Fun! David can't get enough of it.

Loading his "gun" onto the wheeler. He was scared of real guns, which is a good thing, but sure thinks he is a big guy having his cap gun with.

Off they go!

6:00 Friday night. He slept until 6 the next morning. He slept the whole night in his hunting vest. Enjoying some snuggles with Grandma.

Thursday @ Shack

Enjoying the cool fall weather outside.
Mikko had no problem finding the puddles instantly!

Snuggles with Grandma and Grandpa in front of the fire.

Very interesting in watching Daddy clean birds.

Peek-a-Boo with Mikko - got some ridiculously cute pictures of him!

Eating cheetos outside! They love this place!

I went for a nice long hike in the woods and had 3 dogs for company!
