Two Special Birthdays this Week!

Cousin Leah celebrated her 2nd Birthday! We went over for a very relaxed cupcake and Cars themed party! Leah got lots of cute clothes and a cool wagon. Happy Birthday funny Miss Leah. We love you and can't wait to see all the silly things you do in the coming year. You are truly a unique and sweet little girl. I know you'll be able to handle your crazy and wild boy cousins just fine.
Cousin Lauren celebrated her very important First Birthday on Sunday. We had lots of yummy food and all the kids got to enjoy the playland of toys at the Amundson house! Lauren got more pink clothes than I could ever imagine! Happy Birthday sweet Lauren. We can't wait to see all the things the next year has in store for you - walking, talking and playing with all your cousins.

For some reason kids just love staying in hotels.

We met my parents in Park Rapids so they could take the dogs for a weeks vacation up north while we went to Peter's Resort with Damon's family. We decided to spend the night in Park Rapids to make a much shorter time in the car for the boys. We had lots of fun staying at a hotel (The C'Mon INN - cheesy name but it was actualy a pretty nice place) overnight. We had the pool all to ourselves and the boys loved it.

Afternoon Adventure

Damon had to work all day so when Mikko woke up from his nap I decided to take the boys to the Zoo again for some afternoon fun. It is so nice having the membership so you don't feel like you have to do everything while you are there. Today we pretty much just concentrated on the play areas. David and Mikko played in the Mammoth excavation for a really long time. Lots of dirt is all they need!

We also took the Tractor Ride to the farm. Mikko thought it was pretty fun.
