Holidazzle Parade
The boys loved the parade. Mikko was mesmerized by the lights. He was so bundled! Note the adorable hat that Mandy made for him.

Parade Watchers.
We all loved the Parade Marshall - The Target Dog
Greta and David were the perfect age. They would tell us when another float was coming. David cried when the parade was done.
Uncle Charles happened to be playing Charlie Chaplin at Orchestra Hall right after the parade was done. We went there to warm up and visit him. David wasn't quite sure it was Uncle Charles but definitely warmed up to the idea.
We had a delightful evening going to the Holidazzle Parade in downtown Minneapolis. My sister's kids, Carol and my parents ventured out. It was great weather, a great crowd and the kids were just perfect. Mikko even liked it! A perfect start to the Christmas Season.

Thanksgiving
Grandma Carol and the boys.
Grandma hid turkey stickers around the house that David had to find. For prizes he got all these toys. Just warming up for Christmas, I guess!
Diane and Mikko
We spent a wonderful day at Grandma Carol's House. She had so much food, it was all just delicious. It was fun to spend time with Dusty, he is so good with the boys. He had David laughing and running and doing all kinds of crazy things. Diane loved holding Mikko. We were so happy she joined us.
What a wonderful day to celebrate family. We missed having Mandy, Corey and Leah with us.
We are blessed to have such warm and caring families.

11th Annual Westfork Women's Weekend
All the "young" gals. We ate a fabulous dinner at Marx in downtown Stillwater.
The clock struck noon so we just HAD to stop for beers and bloody mary's while shopping.
Here are our fun and fabulous moms!

We spent our 11th annual Westfork Women's Weekend at the Sunflower Stuga near Stillwater.
Friday night was spent eating pizza, having fun "shots", and being entertained by our friendly hostess Amy. Of course, Britta and I were the last ones still "going strong" well into the night. We were also the ones that paid for it the next morning.
But that didn't stop us from shopping all day Saturday. We shopped the many Stillwater boutiques and had mid-day drinks at Brines! Luckily there were 2 pregnant women in the group who got to haul us around!
Saturday night was another happy hour at the "Stuga" and then dinner at Marx. We had so much fun and so many laughs, I'm already thinking about next year.
More about the place we stayed:
We stayed at the Sunflower Stuga near Stillwater. It is an adorable "Scandinavian" inspired scrapbooking retreat that Britta's friend Amy has started.
We did not take advantage of the scrapbooking/crafting amenities (Gail may have killed us if we made her go into the craftroom) but focused more on happy hour and chit chat. I'd recommend the place for any group that would like a weekend away to craft and scrapbook as there is a wonderful well-supplied workroom. Check out their website:

Mikko - 6 Months
(he loves that water filled toy from the Amundson's)
Today Mikko is 6 months old. Half a year already?
Smiles, Smiles, Smiles.
Screams, Screams, Screams
That is Mikko's world right now - Smiles and Joyful Screams.
He still enjoys seeing Mommy and Daddy 2-3 times per night in the middle of the night : )
That is the ONLY thing about Mikko we'd change!
