Greta's Ice Show Debut

We went to watch Greta in her first ice show. I absolutely love this picture which captures the essence of Greta and David. Funny kids!

Backyard Fun

Bike helmet is nowhere to be found so I made him wear his hockey helmet. Overkill, but if anyone knows David, he is a daredevil. Plus he is rocking his Darth Vader tshirt.

Wonderful Weather

We went to the Fraser's on Saturday night to grill out. Carrie made festive green drinks for the kids. Again, Mikko insisted on wearing his Thomas the Train winter hat, even though it was 80 degrees out.
Mikko was on the girls Volley Ball team, although he wondered off pretty quickly.

Can you believe it is March?

Sunday afternoon we went to Cooper's so I could redeem my free Finnegan's Beer for running the 7k.

We sat outside. It was too bright for David so I gave him my sunglasses to wear.

I ran the Get Lucky 7k race with my friends Rachel and Mark. It was a beautiful day, warm in fact. Thousands of people with lots of good energy. And beer afterwards!

We spent so much time outside. Four-wheeling!
I went snowshoeing on the trails. Exhausting, but peaceful and a fun way to workout. Damon plowed with the Cat.

We tried to sled but there was so much snow it was hard to haul the boys back up the hill. A couple times and I couldn't take it anymore. And I'm even in shape.

We made snores in the fire. Mikko really just liked the Hershey bars.

Riding with Grandpa

Rocket Launches

Grandpa liked David's rocket from Santa so much that he wanted one too. This is the first launch of the Athena Rocket.
David got to push the button. Mikko hated the loud noise so wanted to hang out in the car.

I was the official "Rocket Chaser". I would track the rockets and snowshoe out into the field or the woods to recover them. I got my workout in for the day.

I successfully recovered all rockets. Rocket launches have become a fun hobby at the Peterson Field.

Shack Fun

Finding fun in the little things. I filled a glass with compacted show and we all guessed how much water it would be when it melted.
It was pure entertainment for David for hours. He kept running over to the glass to see how much had melted. Fun without the internet!

We helped Grandpa put together his Maple Syrup bags.

Sauna Time

The Fougners and Petersons came over on Friday night for pizza from Lindy's, beer, and sauna.

Today we said goodbye to Grandma Pidge. It was a beautiful service.
