Our weekend

Mikko, Grandma Carol and David playing Pop-Up Pirate during the Super Bowl.

Mikko would grab the pirate instead of letting him pop out, thinking he'd won. David even thought it was funny, even though Mikks wasn't playing right.

We did fondue. The house smells like a deep fat fryer, but it was fun.

David built a wood shed with his Lincoln Logs - Grandpa Huntz would be proud.

We spent a nice relaxing weekend. Damon didn't have any gigs booked so it was the 4 of us all weekend. I took Mikko to his first class of his new semester at the Little Gym on Saturday morning. I know he loves it because he was practically breaking down the door to get in the gym while we waited for the class before his to finish up. After LG, I brought him to get his haircut at Kid's Hair. My heart rate increased as I walked in the door with memories of our last time - screams, snot covered face - he really thought it was torture. BUT, in Mikko fashion, he surprised me and sat still and quiet the whole time. He was great! He also learned to say "Daddy" this weekend.

David went to skating lessons and passed to the next level! Damon could hardly get him off the ice at the end. He is starting his next session soon and will be in the Ice Show on April 9th!
And out of nowhere while we were watching the Super Bowl David said that he didn't like that Grandpa died. I guess that means that he is slowly processing it in his own way.
