Then I discovered I caught Mikko in the act of dumping out his sippy cup on the pillow...little Stinker. Still a cute moment though : )

David and Bobby and a dance party to "Dynamite"
A load of dishes to do.

Day 2 0f getting Mikko ready. This day I decided to duct tape his mittens on.
Having Fun!
Today Grandpa made an embankment with the Tractor so the kids wouldn't fly in the river. The runs were getting very slick!
There he goes again.
A Dray ride through the woods.
Our Rowdy Driver - No Hands up the hill.
Mikko loved the ride through the woods.
Warming up!
We walked to one of the deer stands and the kids loving climbing up into it.
David and Gretzky led us out of the woods.
Greta loved leading Mikko around.
Silly Thanksgiving headgear!
Turning the light on and off - it was a favorite trick of David's when he was that age too. The light switch illuminated a bear on the wall.

Day 3 was filled with lots more sledding and fun! David fell asleep before dinner again and Mikko had lots of fun with Grandma Marlene.

Thanks for the wonderful time, another idyllic family weekend at the Shack. There is no place we'd rather be!
Thanksgiving Weekend - Day 2
Gingerbread House.
Morning crafts.
Greta and Mikko playing in the bunkbed.
Peek-A-Boo
More fun with Grandma Marlene
The kids decorated the Christmas Tree
Group shot - turned out quite interesting.
We always go for a ride down the road in the morning in our jammies to look for deer, wolves, anything, I guess. We brought Greta along with us. They loved pretending they were dogs in the back of the car.
Greta LOVES Foxy.
Soapy River with snow.
Getting ready to go sledding. It took me forever to get Mikko dressed and he couldn't move when I was done. I wanted to lay down next to him - I was sweating.
The Flying Finn
There he goes, down the hill.
A crash - Greta, David and Bobby in one sled.
David was the crazy one. He would go down the sled any way. Here he is going head first. He was crazy and had no fear. At the end of the run, he would lay in the snowbank like a slug. He gave us lots of reason to laugh.
Thanksgiving Weekend Day 1
Our trip was delayed one day due to snow, so we decided to Caravan with the Frasers. David kept looking for their van and wondering where Bobby and Gretzky were. We ate at McDonalds - a first for Thanksgiving Day.
Snowy/Icey roads as we approached the Shack.
The boys were laughing at Jimmy. When we turn onto the road the Shack is one, Jimmy goes crazy, howling and gets so excited he nearly jumps into the front seat. David and Mikko think it is so funny.

David immediately wanted to play outsite, no snow pants on so he got pretty cold pretty fast. He was having a snowball fight with Bobby.
Bobby got the job of carrying wood.
The kids LOVE to play in the bunkbeds. They spent much of there time there. They wanted blankets over it so it was their house. David and Greta pretended they were on vacation and would play in there.
