Train Ride to the Pumpkin Patch

Friday we took off work and headed to Osceola, Wi, to take a train ride to a Pumpkin Patch. Grandma Carol came along. So did Grandma and Grandpa Wagner. Unfortunately Daddy had to work so he missed out.
Waiting to board the train.

Grandpa Huntz and David.

Grandparent fun!
All aboard!

David getting his ticket punched.

Unfortunately, shortly after leaving the station the train broke down for about a half hour. But, we explored the train and learned about the mail car and all kinds of fun things. The only unfortunate thing was that David had to go to the bathroom and there was none on board because the trip was only supposed to be 15 minutes. At this moment I was very happy to have only boys because we had to get creative. Anyway...away we went after a new engine arrived to push us to the pumpkin patch.

David in a hay bale maze!

He was the perfect age for all the activities.

Tractor ride with Grandpa.

Attempt at a cute pictures of the boys together. ATTEMPT!!

They had the best pumpkins I'd ever seen!

Grandma Marlene and Mikks outside the Haunted Depot.
I tried to get David to go through it but he was terrified. So did Grandma Carol.

The pumpkin patch was in Dresser, Wi.

Finally Grandpa Huntz convinced David to go through the Haunted Depot. He cowered behind Grandpa but made it through. It wasn't so scary after all.

So then he took Grandma Carol through.

Then Grandma Marlene.

Eating pumpkin bars. Yummy!

Grandpa located the bar across the street from the Depot and wondered off for a Leinies! Iwas a bit jealous!
Mikko playing the fishing game.

We went on a pump car ride. The sun was in David's eyes.

Back to Osceola after a very fun-filled day. What a great way to spend a beautiful fall day.
