Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's House

Grandma Marlene loving her little grandsons.

Marlene, the Mikko Whisperer
I couldn't get Mikko to take a nap, so Grandna took over. AMAZING. We want her to move in with us.

Mikko strapped into the antique high chair with a dish cloth, they way they used to do it.

The infamous "Wizard of Oz" highchair is now gone. On a trip from the Shack to the Falls when Bobby was a baby, my dad had the highchair in the back of the pickup truck. Around the Junction, the highchair caught some wind and launched into the air about 20 feet and crashed into the ditch. For 6 years we used the duct taped high chair, never quite sure we should trust the repair job. We'd laugh every time we'd try to strap one of the grandkids in it about the "Wizard of Oz" high chair.
My Mom went to my Dad's cousin, Janice's garage sale last summer and bought this old wooden high chair that Janice used as a baby. Here it is! It is so adorable.

My musical boys.

We walked down to the Lake to play in the sand. David can't wait to come back in the summer.

Testing out his puddle jumpers.

On Saturday we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house so we could go to Lucia's Birthday party. David was VERY sad to leave the Shack, but learned that spending time at their house is ALMOST as much fun.
